~~I have a little secret to share. Shall we meet secretly at Secret Garden ~~
Since young, I have developed a taste for good food and I love to travel around to try out new dish
Three years ago, I attended a solemnization at this nice little restaurant located at Middle Road called “secret garden” . I was first attracted by the cozy ambience which is low-key and elegant, with tables in separate areas far enough apart for quiet conversation. The service staffs are friendly and they make patrons into friends. The menu is quite diverse which will make your mouth water, the drinks are generous and prices are in line with other upscale restaurants.
If you’re looking for a truly romantic experience with your partner, you must put My Secret Garden high on your list.

Just went to AMICI Authentic Italian Restaurant last nite and its a small but romantic resturant which is located at Holland Village with my Close friend... there are many different kinds of Wine bottles display... each table there is a table candle (something like candle light dinner). Did not order wine as we feel that 2 of us couldnt finish up.
Apologies that the picture are dark as the lighting there are dark, Forgotten to take picture of the wine and their speciallty tiramisu
Overall the food is nice but its abit expensive. A Romantic place for a couple to go and ppl whom appreciate wine.
Do check it oour for more infomation.

try this try this!
My fav hangout place back in the Sec sch days............. Yishun 928! (Near the Interchange) Appearances can be deceiving!
Yishun 928's popiah! Due to the handphone camera i used, the photos of the popiah made it seemed not as appealing, but trust me, it's nice! The amt of fillings is of the right amount, hence you will never get a SKINNY POPIAH, or a BLOATED popiah. It's of the right size! & the fillings are so tasty, the ingredients just match & compliment each other. For those who love the "crispy thingy", fret not, this popiah has it too!
Also, the place is really well-known for its LAKSA! It currently has 2 laksa stalls, but the one I'm referring to, is the one at the right once you come down from the escalator. (which also means the one at the right when facing the eatery)
I've never ever wanted to try the other stall which opened much later, cause i'm very loyal to the one i'm recommending! HAHAH. I dont have photos for the laksa, cause I've not had the chance to go thr recently. It has been on a few media coverage, including the recent 排排站,查查看 (hosted by Bryan & Cavin). The gravy of the laksa is thick & the amt of coconut used it JUST NICE! (AHHHHH damn crave for it alr, thinking of it nowwwww) If you dislike cockles, you can trade them for crabsticks/fish cakes instead. how considerate right! Believe me, you will get addicted to the laksa & crave for more once you try it.
Last but not least, the place has nice desserts too. The ice shavings are not as smooth as those 雪花冰 you find outside, but they are definitely not like the rough ones with big pieces of ice found (makes you feel irritating eating ice kachang with big pieces of ice, isnt it?!) Try the Ice Kachang Cocktail (with more milk! ;p)
Wow i didnt expect myself to write so much!! I just got more & more engrossed, wanting to intro this place to you guys. HAHAH I used to visit this place very often, back in sec sch days. We will always go thr & chiong for seats (esp so since the eatery is rather small, & we always go thr in quite a big grp!) & although we always complain how hot and stuffy it gets at times, we will still go there to satisfy our craves all the time.
If you have a chance, check it out!

Singapore is most well known as being a 'food paradise' and I believe this to be 100 % true. Every where we go ,we see people eating ,queuing up for their favorite food ...yummy when I talk about food my stomach start to make noise ‘grrrrrrrrrr’
If you go to little India food centre known as ‘tekka market the smell of briyani will make your taste buds go tingling with excitement.
There are many shops selling briyani there. Not only briyani stalls, there are fruit, drinks, roti prata ,chapattis, mee goreng and many food stalls competing with each other during the lunch hour rush.
But the shop that attract me is “Allauddin’s Briyani .It is located at 665 Buffalo Road #01-297 at Tekka Market. “For $ 4.00 you can order a plate of orangey red looking plate of Chicken Briyani that is not served with banana leaf but Styrofoam plate. Visually it looks tempting. The chicken is so soft and tender that a simple tear at the lightest pressure of the fork will cause the meat to be easily separated from its bone. The briyani goes well together with the fresh sugarcane juice stall opposite the briyani shop.
The environment is not air-con but it gave you a peace. You can listen to good tamil song while you enjoying your food because there are stall holders who tune on their radio as loud as they would.
I would say if you want hang out with your friend to eat good, quality and affordable this is the place you can go (Tekka Market).
I think I would end here as I am preparing to go to tekka market to eat the delicious briyani ….I will end with this quote. Food is a central activity of mankind and one of the single most significant trademarks of a culture.

This is my favourite makan place!
A memorable place.. where my children gather for their meals, where my colleagues all sit down together to chat and chill during our lunch break, where we had celebrations with delicious food prepared by our cook, where we share and exchange experiences.
If you ask me what is nice there? The menu? It's ever -changing! (hence no picture of food ^^. )
Actually in this place, that's where activities are carried out, where children play their toys, but also a place where we makan. A place where many things have happened.
Therefore i would say, This is more than just my favourite makan place!

Just took this photo while crossing road so that I can join this contest. (^.^)V Risking my life leh, got extra points? Okok, introducing my fave place..........
HOTEL 81!!!!
No lah, it's balestier - where I live in. this place means lots to me coz it's where I spend my entire life in. I love to stay in Balestier coz there are plently of lighting shops, bathroom fixtures shops, hotels, lup sup bars, and dubious massage centres. If you need new lights / new toilets /"lovely girl massage", it's so convenient! Also, it's very exciting to stay in balestier coz sometimes we have robbery cases which will follow with a hot pursuit until the robber gets caught by our fellow residents who can run very fast. All of us at balestier can run fast. Really!!! There is no mrt u see....so we have to take bus to everywhere. Then if u see a bus coming, but u are not at the bus stop....what will u do??? Run like crazy lor! So every morning, u can see us running to catch buses. Hehee. My fave place!!

WE SURVIVED!!! All the adventures, the thrill and that fun that we had!!!
This might be one of the most unforgettable experience each one of us had in our 2 days 1 night stay in Sembawang camp,we met new friends, got to know more about labour movement, conquered our fear for height!!! All the joy and memories we've shared,no matter how far the distance each one of us as we parted ways, we know that we once had this experience that we would never be able to forget... ever... we're a family by heart.. and we know that we'll all see each other again.. in time....

This was taken at Chinese Garden during Mid-Autumn festival 2 years ago. It was the actually my first time visiting Chinese Garden. Haha.. I’m already 20+ years old then. Then, I just got together with my girlfriend and like every other couple, festival= holiday= outing for celebration. So we decided to go Chinese Garden and soak in the festive mood. This was our first “festival outing”. I still remembered that the place was quite packed and there were lots of nice and creative lanterns around. Along the way, we saw this tower and decided to go up to have a better view. I must say the view up there is very good and at the same time, offered us a sense of sereneness to chat. Somehow, you feel like you are in the middle of the action but somehow away from it at the same time. This was the most memorable part of our first “festive date”. And the other not-so-memorable part was the purchase of 2 normal alkaline batteries at Chinese Garden for my camera at 5 dollars. LOL~ Still, it is one of my favorite places in Sg. Will surely visit it again.

Hohoho. Not sure if it's alright to use this photo, but it's the closest i can find. Never mind though, just sharing anyways!
Photo was taken in 1989 - the year i was born. The most memorable place for me - my backyard garden.
It's the place that i grew up and had so much fun and terror, lol!
Fun noticing so many snails miracously appearing all over the place after a rain. We kept 3 chickens in our garden where we dug the soil to search for worms for our chickens. Of course, enjoying this swing done up by dad!
Terror as being chased by chickens, being scolded and punished out there when we did something wrong. Plus, seeing huge rats running along the drain was rather terrifying too! And not forgetting sometimes the backyard can end up in an ugly sight sometimes! (check out door in the photo)
it is my secret favourite place.

My favourite place in Singapore is Bukit Timah Hill. It is the highest natural point in Singapore. I went there with my girlfriend for a hike and everyone who had went there before would have known about the infamous steep uphill slope towards the top of the hill. It was tiring but it was fun as I able to do so with the one I love and it provide us with the opportunity to overcome it together. We walked hand in hand encouraging one another to reach to the top of the hill.
We were so happy when we reached the top of the hill as the experience definitely strengthen our bond and love towards one another. We definitely want to walk up the hill together until we are old. It was such a memorable experience for us and I would definitely recommend the place to all as its a place where everybody can enjoy.
